Sold for $458,000
what ppl think? a bit low? was 2 bedroom with car

Unit 708 was actually only a 1 bedroom, with an area of 56m2, so $458k was actually a pretty good price.
I went to the auction, held out the front of the building where only a small crowd was gathered. There was 1 bidder who bid only once or twice from memory, up to the $410k mark, against a couple of vendor bids.
The bidder was a man who looked in his 40's who was given first opportunity to negotiate with the vendor after the auction, as per normal auction procedure.
The result was a $458k sale price, presumably this figure was around where the reserve was set.
A fairly low key auction, in stark contrast to the huge crowd gathered last Saturday outside 1 Powlett St.
